| Hello, with the completion of this new website, I hope to eliminate the need
for a catalog and in return maintain a visual record of a group of basic containers.
Some of which is past work and some current, but all that is available upon request.
As new shapes are made each season, I will be able to add them as they become available.
Shipping and handling costs are 15% of the total sale. Pots that are in stock are usually
shipped out the same week. This website is not intended for placing orders online, but to give you
visual information on shapes, feet, glazes and textures. Each pot is clearly labeled and has a brief

| I have been a full time contemporary potter in Red Wing
for over 31 years, but for the past 16 years I have solely made bonsai
containers. All pots are hand thrown and altered on a potters wheel, and
are made of high quality stoneware clays. They are high fired at 2400
degrees F., and are completely vitreous(non porous), frost proof, and
extremely durable. The stoneware clay has a lot of tooth, and a warm hand rubbed appearence. Many of the stoneware glazes are mixed with 50% hardwood ash, which gives the pottery a very mottled and textured surface. |
